thanks for your interest in visiting our summer conference! The conference will be held on September 10-12 in hotel Talsky Mlyn in Zdar nad Sazavou. Although most participants will arrive with a car (there will be carsharing doc), you can use a direct train from Prague/Brno.

We plan to run 1 seminar track for the whole program. The conference language will be in English, unless all participants are Czechs.
Since the detailed preparation of the program very much depends on the number of judges/presenters, if you are likely to arrive, please apply ASAP – don`t wait for the application deadline!
We also have quite a limited number of rooms. The estimated conference cap at this moment is approx. 20 participants, which also means that we will prefer applications from judges from our region to others, in case we will be about to reach it.
We are looking for presentators! If you would like to present a topic and share your knowledge with others, please mention this in your application and/or contact David Zalesky as early as possible. David can also help to assign you a popular topic, if you are not sure what to present.
There will be no seminars on Friday. We plan to spend the afternoon/evening with social activities. Various group entertainment proposals will be posted in special thread.
Some suggestions: BBQ party, beachvolleyball, swimming, hike, sauna, minigolf, Magic tournament, beer and chat,….
On Saturday there will be mandatory seminars, starting from 9.00am. After Meet&Greet we are planning to run about 3-4 presentations, followed by a late lunch (around 1pm) After lunch and siesta there will be another 1-2 sessions. This will last until around 16-17.00.
Afterwards several social activities are planned: (preliminary suggestions include BBQ party, beachvolleyball, swimming, hike, sauna, minigolf, Magic tournament, dinner in the city….and indeed the legendary KVIZOBEH 🙂
Seminars on Sunday (morning) are mandatory and there will be about 3 workshops starting from 9.00. After the lunch there will be an official conference end at about 14:00.

The final conference fee (accomodation in a twin room for two nights, two breakfasts, two lunches, rent of conference rooms incl. equipment) is 1750 CZK (approx.€70). All rooms are spacious, well equipped twin rooms with possible extra beds. The hotel is newly opened with delicious cuisine (tested and approved last year) and large conference room.
Currently we have 12 beds at our disposal with some further spare vacancy possible. We would like to ask you to confirm your attendance as soon as possible, preferably before end of July. Thank you!
How to pay
To secure your conference spot, we will charge a prepayment of 1000 CZK (or €40). It is payable to one of these accounts:

(accepting also Revolut deposits!)Please add a note to your deposit payment “from <NAME OF THE JUDGE> for Summer Judge Conf” so that I can identify it.
Unless you withdraw per email and cancel your attendance before 14th of August, the prepayment is considered non-refundable.
The rest of the conference costs will be paid on site (EUR or CZK), or can be paid to the same bank account.
