Welcome to the Europe North Winter 2019 judge conference, where we look at the past, present and future of judging in the North.

This conference is targeted at judges from the Europe North region. Mostly the bits that were always called Europe North, although our UKISA friends are welcome to join as long they promise to be faithful and true!

Registration

Participants must register by October 20th. All certified judges (including those who have not yet joined Judge Academy) who register by this date will receive a packet of judge foils.

We recommend that you make your travel arrangements as soon as you have registered!

Schedule

The conference will start at around 10:00 and the run until about 17:30. After this we will have a group dinner in a local restaurant.

Presenters and content

We are looking for presenters! The presenters will be expected to share an outline of their presentation with the content coordinator and other presenters, and give feedback to other presenters.

Judge testing

Since Judge Academy’s L1 testing is expected to be online based, we don’t expect to offer it at this conference. Information about the availability of L2 testing will be posted later.

Food and drink

Lunch will be provided, more information about this will be published later. We will do our best to accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets, but if you have very specific dietary requirements we suggest that you bring your own food. After the conference there will be a group dinner/party/shenanigans on your own budget.

How to get there

First, accept Tarpan into your heart. Second…we’ll post some instructions later!
