Attendees

Foil support for this conference is available for all judges in Canada who currently hold a Level 1 or higher Judge Academy certification. A cover letter is not required for attendees, We expect to be able to accept all judges in Canada; however, if you believe you should be given priority in case that we are not able to accept everyone, please state this in your cover letter.

To be eligible for foils, we ask that you attend all presentations and provide detailed feedback on at least one presentation.

Judges from the United States and other foreign countries are welcome to attend, but are not eligible for foils. We will be able to accept a small number of American judges for foil support at a lower priority than Canadian judges. We will prioritize judges who have not attended a conference recently and who do not have much experience. If you believe this applies to you, please state this in your cover letter.

If you have a presentation idea, please don’t hesitate to apply! We will prioritize presentations in the following categories:

  • Presentations by presenters who have not yet presented in English in Canada
  • Presentations on topics that have not been presented recently in Canada, either online or in-person
  • Presentations on Competitive REL/large tournament policy and logistics
  • Presentations on community building
