Channel Fireball is excited to invite you to apply to join us as an admin staff member for the upcoming ChannelFireball Clash series, which will be held on MTG Melee!
Please be sure to read the entire application carefully before applying.
Expectations
If selected to work as an admin, you will need to be available for the full length of your shift (each shift will take roughly 9 hours), and will be required to have access to stable Internet, a computer, and have moderate familiarity with Discord and other platforms that are used to run online tournaments. Your primary responsibilities will be to monitor the discord and Melee channels for any issues in getting games started, provide players with information on what is expected from them and on what they can expect from the event, and generally keep the event running at a smooth pace. Additionally you may need to interface with players if they become disconnected during a game, or if an investigation in an ongoing issue is required. On top of that, we will be helping out players getting connected with the Coverage Team if they are selected for a feature match.

Clash II – 10-11th of October 2020

We will be running this tournament using MTG Melee and Discord. Please remember, we will be adapting to new challenges as we progress with this tournament series, your flexibility and ability to quickly shift gears or learn new things is paramount.
Compensation
Staff members will receive 160 USD for their shift. All payments will be processed via Bank Transfer at the start of the next week.
Application Process
Please fill out the questions in order to apply. The available shift question is required, but if you have a specific shift that you like more, you can put that in your cover letter. If you feel like we already have a well-established working relationship, the cover letter is not required, but it is a good place to put some extra info you think we might need.
Applications will remain open until Friday October 9th, but acceptances for Clash II have at this point already been made. The other acceptances should go out around October 12th.

PS: the JA site currently bugs out with application questions, so the correct question might randomly not be available for you to fill out shifts or the like, if that is the case, just put them in the coverage letter
