ChannelFireball is excited to invite you to apply to join us as an admin staff member for the CFB Pro October Showdown, which will take place on MTG Melee!
Please be sure to read the entire application carefully before applying.
Expectations
If selected to work as an admin, you will need to be available for the full length of your shift (each shift will take roughly 9 hours), and will be required to have access to stable Internet, a computer, and have moderate familiarity with Discord and other platforms that are used to run online tournaments. Your primary responsibilities will be to monitor the discord and Melee channels for any issues in getting games started, provide players with information on what is expected from them and on what they can expect from the event, and generally keep the event running at a smooth pace. Additionally you may need to interface with players if they become disconnected during a game, or if an investigation in an ongoing issue is required. On top of that, we will be helping out players getting connected with the Coverage Team if they are selected for a feature match.

We will be running this tournament using MTG Melee and Discord. Please remember, we will be adapting to new challenges as we progress with this tournament series, your flexibility and ability to quickly shift gears or learn new things is paramount.
Compensation
Staff members will receive 160 USD for their shift. All payments will be processed via Bank Transfer at the start of the next week.

Please fill out the questions in order to apply. If you feel like we already have a well-established working relationship, the cover letter is not required, but it is a good place to put some extra info you think we might need.
