Welcome to the Experimental Conference 6: Conference Conference!

This is a worldwide conference to help people learn about running and/or presenting at judge conferences. We’ll be starting at 9:00 Pacific time, with total runtime to be finalized later. Our current topic list is as follows:

  • Kevin Desprez – Designing feedback forms and soliciting constructive feedback
  • Tobias Vyseri – Designing workshops and interactive presentations
  • Joe Klopchic – Designing judge trivia games
  • Isaac King – Handling our mistakes
  • Stephan Classen – Hybrid Conferences and Attendee Experience Optimization
  • John Barkestedt – Presentation Slides 101
  • Benjamin Valenzia – Public Speaking
  • Daniel Clarke – How humans learn: a guide to effective education

This conference will be run on either Discord or Zoom, depending on how many people we get. Details will be announced closer to the date of the event.

This is not a foil-supported conference for attendees, which means that you are not required to stay for the entire thing. You can pick which presentations interest you and skip the others. It is foil-supported for presenters and staff.

Cover letters are not required if you’re applying to attend. If you’re applying to present, please submit a presenter application, and contact me with the topic and your experience with it.

If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached via email, Discord, or Facebook.

See you all there!
