Thank you for your interest in the Greater Sacramento Area (GSA) Judges’ Conference – Overflowing Insight. 

It is our goal that attendees will leave the GSA: Overflowing Insight with additional skills and knowledge to support each other, their players, and their local community. 

This event is scheduled for 4.5 hours and is scheduled as an in-person event. We have finalized our agenda (topics are set, session names may be adjusted):

  • 12:30-12:40 Welcome, Goals for the Day, Logistics (Jake Chatters and Adam (Taz) White)
  • 12:40-1:00 Supporting Our Broader Community: The Time2Tabletop Example/Growth through Gaming (w/our host Scooter Hamilton (Time2Tabletop))
  • 1:00-1:45 Supporting Our Local Store Events — Store Owners and Judges, Relationship Building (EJ Drew and Matthew Pence)
  • 1:45-2:30 Supporting Our Knowledge: Casting a Spell, The Hard Way (Kris Kleinsteuber)
  • 2:30-2:45 BREAK
  • 2:45-3:30 Supporting Our Players: Addressing Players, A Soft Skill Approach (Thomas Conmy)
  • 3:30-4:15 Supporting Ourselves: Soft Skills to Make the Event Go Right (For You) (Joseph Sapp)
  • 4:15-4:50 Supporting Each Other: Professionalism, Ethics, and Camaraderie in the Judge Workplace (Adam (Taz) White)
  • 4:50-5:00 Wrap Up

Presenters and attendees should be prepared to switch to a virtual setting if public health conditions warrant. Event organizers will inform all presenters and participants of a change to virtual no less than one week prior to the event.

This is a foil-supported event. Please note that foils will be distributed per policy and should the event change from in-person to remote, foil support will change accordingly.

There is limited space for this event. We have filled our presenter slots but are still looking for ATTENDEES and backup presenters!

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination will be required for the event. Face coverings may be required for the event, depending on pandemic conditions.
