¿De que tratan estas conferencias?

La idea de estas conferencias es impartir formación sobre investigaciones por parte de ponentes experimentados. Se formarán pequeños grupos (3-4) con un ponente. Durante cada sesión se plantearán dos escenarios sobre los que los participantes tendrán que trabajar.

Selección de participantes

Dado el carácter especializado de estas conferencias están enfocadas a L2+ pero se tendrán en cuanta solicitudes de L1 en función de la disponibilidad. Cuando se cierren las fechas y se confeccionen los grupos se publicará una archivo de excel en el foro del evento (por favor, mantened las notificaciones del evento activadas).

¿Cuándo se llevarán a cabo estas sesiones?

Las conferencias tendrán lugar durante los meses de Abril y Mayo. Cada participante deberá asistir a dos sesiones en días distintos, una perteneciente a la primera sesión y otra perteneciente a la segunda.. Cada sesión tendrá una duración de 3 horas. Con el fin de dar el mayor abanico posible de fechas estos días aún no están cerrados. A la hora de hacer la aplicación al este evento se deben seleccionar todas las fechas posibles a las que se podrían asistir. Cuantas mas fechas se seleccionen mas sencillo será poder aceptar al mayor número posible de árbitros. Con toda la información recogida se cerraran las fechas y se confeccionarán los grupos. Las fechas que se barajan son las siguientes (Horario de Madrid):

Primeras sesiones:

• Jueves 1 Abril de 21:30 a 24:30
• Sábado 3 Abril o Domingo 4 Abril de 10:00 a 13:00
• Martes 6 Abril o Miércoles 7 Abril de 19:00 a 22:00
• Sábado 9 Abril o Domingo 10 Abril de 10:00 a 13:00
• Martes 13 Abril o Miércoles 14 Abril de 19:00 a 22:00
• Sábado 17 Abril o Domingo 18 Abril de 10:00 a 13:00

Segundas sesiones:

• Jueves 15 Abril de 21:30 a 24:30

¿En que idioma se llevarán a cabo las sesiones?

Las sesiones se impartirán en castellano o en inglés en función de los participantes. A la hora de realizar la aplicación se debe indicar en que idiomas se podría recibir la formación.

¿Qué necesito para participar? ¿Estas conferencias tienen soporte de foils?

Se trata de unas conferencias online donde será necesario la participación activa de los asistentes. Se llevarán a cabo en el canal de Discord de la comunidad de IBERIA , porque le se debe tener acceso a él en el momento de las conferencias y es obligatorio el uso de micrófono. El uso de cámara de video no es obligatorio pero si recomendable. Estas conferencias recibirán apoyo de foils por parte de Judge Academy. Es necesario asistir a las dos sesiones para recibirlas. Por motivos logísticos es necesario residir en España o Portugal para poder recibirlas. 

A la hora de realizar la aplicación recordad que cuantas mas fechas posibles se seleccionen mas sencillo será ser incluido en algún grupo y por tanto, ser seleccionado.

What are the Iberian Investigation Discussion Conferences?

The idea of these conferences is to provide investigation training by esperienced judges. Small groups (3-4) will be formed with one speaker. During each  session, two scenarios will be proposed on which the judges will have to work.

Participan selection

Given the specialized nature of these conferences, they are focused on L2+ but L1s will be taken into account depending on availability. When the dates are closed and the groups are made, an excel file will be published in the event forum (please keep the event notifications activated).

When are the sessions?

The conferences will take place during the months of April and May. Each participant must attend two sessions on different days, one belonging to the first session and the other belonging to the second. Each session will last 3 hours. In order to give the widest possible range of dates, these days are not yet closed. When applying for this event, all possible dates that could be attended must be selected. The more dates selected, the easier it will be to be able to accept as many judges as possible. With all the information collected, the dates will be closed and the groups will be made. The dates that are being considered are the following (Madrid Time):

First sessions:

• Thursday 1 April from 21:30 to 24:30

• Saturday April 3 or Sunday April 4 from 10:00 to 13:00

• Tuesday April 6 or Wednesday April 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday April 9 or Sunday April 10 from 10:00 to 13:00

• Tuesday April 13th or Wednesday April 14th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday April 17th or Sunday April 18th from 10:00 to 13:00

Second sessions:

• Thursday 15 April from 21:30 to 24:30

• Tuesday April 20 or Wednesday April 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday April 24 or Sunday April 25 from 10:00 to 13:00

• Tuesday April 27 or Wednesday April 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday May 1 or Sunday May 2 from 10:00 to 13:00 • Tuesday May 4 or Wednesday May 5 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Language

The sessions will be in spanish or english depending on the participants. When applying, you must indicate in wich language you could receive the conference.

How can I participate? Are there judge foils?

These are online conferences where the active participation of the attendees will be necessary. They will be held on the Discord channel of the IBERIA community, because you must have access to it at the time of the conferences and the use of a microphone is mandatory. The use of a video camera is not mandatory but it is recommended. These conferences will receive foil support from  Judge Academy. It´s necessary to attend both sessions to receive them. For logistical reasons it is necessary to reside in Spain or Portugal in order to receive them.When making the application remember that the more possible dates selected, the easier it will be to be included in a group and therefore be selected.
