This Mini-Conference is dedicated to those judge calls that make us go hmmm…with a terminal learning objective that you are more ready than ever to handle a call that isn’t necessarily about rules, but about something that requires you to make a judgement call and perhaps apply policy.

Over the of course of the day, you will receive (1) class on Steps to a Judge Call, then have scenarios where Judges will take mock-live calls with feedback given after each call with discussions.  We will continue these until lunch, with more difficult scenarios as time permits.

Attendance will be capped at 15 Judges. Target audience are L1 Judges or those that need to knock some rust off. More hands make less work, so we encourage even those that have been around a while to apply.

Cover letter content will be considered during the application review process for this event. It is critical that you let us know what type of calls you struggle with or would like to see presented, so perhaps we can tailor something.

This conference is foil-supported by Judge Academy, meaning that all Judges with an active JA Membership that attend this Mini-Conference will receive a Judge Packet for their time and effort.
