Cascade Games is running Magic: the Gathering events at San Diego Comic Con from July 21-July 24, 2022. We’re looking for customer-focused people to run tournaments, learn to play events, prize wall, and registration. For any customer service role, you do not need to be a certified judge. For a judging role, a Judge Academy Level 1 or higher certification is preferred.

For employment for this event, you will need to show proof of vaccination, and masks are required.

The convention’s safety protocols can be found here.

Info:

  • You will receive a San Diego Comic Con badge to enjoy the show!
  • $16 an hour
  • No longer than 8 hour shifts

We have a short application window but will be accepting folks on a rolling basis to allow time for people to make necessary travel arrangements.

A bit of legal text:

For this event you will be hired as a direct employee of Cascade Games, LLC. As a condition of employment for this event all staff will be required to fill out an income tax form (W-4), proof of employment eligibility (I-9), a consent to a background check, and the employee agreement form. We will send you a form W2 for your taxes at end of the year. To allow for calculation of tax withholdings, payments will be sent on the Friday after the event (if you need payment sooner, talk with the staffing team to arrange an advance).

Cascade Games is an equal opportunity organization. We will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, gender expression or identity, origin, age, religion, disability, veteran status or sexual orientation.
