Welcome to the SF/Bay Area Conference Watch/Holiday Party!!
Things of great importance:
- This is a supplemental meetup event to the US West End of the Year Judge Bash! that is occurring exclusively online. You must be registered for the End of the Year Judge Bash! to receive any benefits of that event (namely foils)
- Attendees to this event will be meeting together at the Channel Fireball Game Center in Santa Clara to watch and discuss the event live as it occurs.
- Attendance will be taken and delivered to the organizers of the online conference, so you will still be eligible for foils despite not having an online presence (because you’ll be in a physical space will all of us!)
- Space for this meet-up/party is limited, thus, if you would like to attend this meetup, please apply below. We don’t want to turn anyone away on the day of, but the Game Center has a hard capacity limit we cannot break. Applications will close Dec 13, 1159pm to get a more accurate headcount for the event.
- Proof of vaccination at the door will be required for entry, and indoor mask wearing will be enforced throughout the event (so don’t forget those masks and vaccination cards!)
Things of equally great importance but are physically lower on this list:
- This meetup will also double as the Bay Area Judge’s Quinquennial Holiday Party!
- We’ll be running this whole party potluck style, in the theme of “handy consumables”. Bring your best homemade (or “homemade”) foods that can be held in the palm of your hand. Some examples being muffins, cookies, egg rolls, energy balls, mini-cups filled with chili, etc (you get it).
- Drinks and other refreshments will be provided by the organizer
- Bring anything you might enjoy doing with other Judges: Board Games, Commander, Video games, etc; this will be an opportunity to interact with Judges both old and brand new that haven’t been together in a place for nearly two years, lets maximize the fun potential.
