Hello everyone,
Welcome to the first conference of 2022. We are intending on holding a conference each quarter, so keep an eye out for future events.
Structure
- We will be running a single track of presentations.
- The theme of this conference is “Back to Basics”. Please see below for the topics that will be presented.
Venue
- The conference will be held on Discord. The link will be provided closer to the time.
- The start time will be 10:00 with and estimated end time of 15:00.
Support
- Please note, that due to the unreliable nature of the South African postal system, conference support will only be available to in country judges.
- In order to receive support for this conference, you must be a paid up Judge Academy certified judge at Level 1 or higher.
- You will also be required to attend and participate in all of the presentations.
Topics to be presented
- Phases of a turn – with a focus on combat;
- How to host an event – including a crash course in Event Link; and
- Memory techniques – How to remember those pesky rules interactions.
