Dear Benelux and Benelux-loving judges
Once again a prerelease is upon us and because of this we will gather in the Great Hall of the Benelux Conference Discord server to talk about the new set of Strixhaven, School of Mages.
This mini-conference will take place on April 14th of 2021, the doors of our Discord server will open at 17:00, but the conference will start at 19:00.
Schedule for the evening:
- 17:00 – Discord doors open, check-in starts
- 19:00 – Welcome talk, check-in ends
- 19:05 – Short seminar: professor and subject TBD
- 19:25 – Long seminar: professor and subject TBD
- 20:15 – Break
- 20:25 – Long seminar: professor Meg Baum subject TBD
- 21:15 – Byebye talk and sharing feedback form
As you can see we are still looking for some professors… euh we mean presenters, if you want to present something, please let us know in your application. We will be selecting presenters very soon so if you want to present please apply sooner rather than later.
Benelux judges will get priority first. But of course judges from all regions are very welcome to apply as well. Benelux judges get accepted on Monday April 5th, all applications will be accepted or rejected by Wednesday April 7th.
Please note that if you were selected before for a 2021 Benelux mini-conference, did not show up and did not let us know (beforehand or afterwards), you will be selected last, if there are any spots left. If you think this applies to you, please reach out to us so we can have a chat.
The cap, for now, is 50 attendees in total (this includes organisers and presenters). If this conference turns out to be really popular (like the last one) we will reach out to JA to discuss expanding the cap to 100 maximum.
Foil support for this conference is confirmed, please note that we expect you to be present at 19:00, be attentive during the seminars and fill in the feedback form afterwards.
