About the Event

Welcome to the first online Canadian Judge Conference of the year. This conference is single tracked, foil supported for all, and will be held online. The focus of this conference is on Mental Health/Wellness. International attendees/presenters are welcome to apply.

Call for Presenters

The focus of this conference as mentioned above is Mental Health/Wellness. I am look for presenters who may be interested and have experience with mental health/wellness. Some example topics may be how to handle stressful situations/stress; taking time for oneself and why it is important; ways to help (self) regulate; how to handle criticism and not take it personally; etc. Anyone interested in presenting must have their application in by Saturday Feb 12 2022. Drafts/Copies of their presentations must be made available and ready to go by Saturday Feb 26 2022.

Receiving Foils

In order to receive foils, you must attend all four presentations and be a certified judge L1 and above. Exceptions to the attendance requirement can be given by a staff member. If you cannot attend the entire conference please let us know. Attendance will be tracked. You are also required to fill out a survey regarding the conference. This survey is not generalized feedback it is about the topic, content, other topics people may want to see, etc.

Conference Meeting Place

The conference will be ran on Discord and Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Presentations

Presentations will run for 45 minutes with a 10 minute question and answer period.

Application Acceptance

Applications will be accepted through the coming month starting with Presenters, Staff, and then attendees. Applications for attendees will close on March 5 2022 at 2345HRS.
