Conference Schedule

5:30 PM Zoom opens for pre conference chit chat and administration. There will be important opening announcements for attendees.

6:00 PM Streets of New Capenna with Rob McKenzie. This extended session will prime the evening and your weekend! As we marvel at his Halo, Rob will take us through the back alleys and bring light to the corners.

8:00 PM Promoting Community Engagement as a Judge with Lauren Effinger. This presentation will cover fostering a healthy and positive event environment, emotional intelligence techniques to use while judging, and the benefits of community building events.

9:00 PM Uniquely a Prerelease Experience with Nick Gajary. How to seize the unique opportunities present at prerelease events, Nick will show us how to properly navigate these streets.

Applications and Support

This conference will accept up to 90 applicants. Consideration will be given to those judges who traditionally work weekends and unable to normally participate in conferences, as well as in region judges (USA Midwest). To be eligible for support you must be a certified judge, attend all three sessions, and use matching names across all platforms for attendance, and finally fill out applicable forms within 2 days of the conference.

Cover letters are not required, but would be the spot to put any consideration you wish us to know about.

Applications will be reviewed weekly and waves of acceptances will occur.

Platform

Presentations will be over Zoom (courtesy of Magelings Games), the link will be posted in the Discord server.

Chat and audience interaction will be on the School of the Unseen Discord server.

Please make sure to respond to the bot in the role-request channel to access the conference area.
