Back on the streets

It’s been more than two years. The latest lockdown has just ended, and we’ve been eyeing going back to a physical miniconference for a while. After some challenges, we’ve got a location and we’re very eager to welcome you all back to physically meet, attend some great seminars, and feel like a judge in a judge program again. Some things will be exactly or as close as possible to how they used to be, but there is some new info, so please contain your excitement to apply until you’ve read everything below.

The program

• 17:30 – Location opens for us, drop by to reconnect with some faces you haven’t seen in a while or play a game.
• 19:00 – Food (and a little different than you’re used to!)
• 20:00 – Rules and Mechanics of Streets of New Capenna by Jasper Jacobs
• 20:50 – Break
• 21:00 – You Are Here by Toby Hazes
• 21:50 – Wrap up and making the journey back home

Family takes care of family

The crime families of Capenna have got nothing on us Benelux judges. Some local members of our syndicate have offered to cook for all of us. More info on the offering, costs and dietary options will be given soon (via the forum). You’re still able to bring your own food as well or order food delivery. Keep an eye on our announcements.

Applications

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you want to be sure of your spot, apply sooner rather than later.

Conference Support

Foil support is still pending.

If the support request is approved, there is a very good chance we do not receive the foils in time to physically have them at the time of the conference. We will make sure you get the foils in that case, either via post, judge mail, or physically at the next conference if you attend that one as well and prefer that option.

Safety

Last but not least, even though lockdowns have ended, Covid still exists. We want to enable everyone to attend and feel safe doing so. Therefore we’d like to encourage attendees to take a self-test before traveling to join us on the day.

Furthermore, if you have any symptoms leading up to the day and aren’t entirely sure whether it’s safe to be around others please stay home and reach out to us instead.

We’d love to see all of your faces again after so much time, but we’d love even more for everyone to stay healthy while doing so.
