Welcome to the community building, development and inclusion conference Chester
Chester is a beautiful city filled with Culture History and scenic places to visit.
Come down and make a day or weekend of it.
The aim of this event is to have conversations about Paper magic, the communities we foster and how we can help the hobby after 2 years of Digital.
This is very much aimed toward Rules Advisors wanting to take the step to L1, L1s wanting to help on a store/ Community level and what We would refer to as ‘the local community level Judges’.
If you want to present, feel free to apply as Presenter with a bit of information about what you would like to present on.
There is 5 slots available throughout the day.
Topics we want to focus on are:
- Creating a welcoming Environment.
- Being a Brand Advocate/ Ambassador
- Running events at store level
- Soft skills
- Handling Community conflict
- Discussing what is expected and what isn’t expected of Judges in LGS’s
Venue
The Venue has Changed due to Scheduling Conflicts
Our venue is Abode Chester, a beautiful venue in the centre of Chester with a gorgeous view of Chester Racecourse
Attendance
When Created the event was aiming toward any judges in North West England or with easy access to Chester.
If anyone is intending on traveling from afar, we can link to public transport and hotels in the city.
The attendance cap for the venue is 50, and JA Support has been confirmed for attending and presenting.
Food
There is Coffee and Tea provided on site included at the event.
Other than that, there will be a break during the day which has restaurants, bakeries or fast food within a 5-10 min walk.
