Judge Gathering

Hi Judge!

This is an event that is mainly intended for judges from ‘the League of New and Beginning Magic: the Gathering Players’

The League meets up once a week on Tuesdays for beginner friendly MtG, drafts, gentry tournaments etc. in our local viking pub ‘de Vrolijke Viking’, which is also the location of this teambuilding afternoon.

If you are involved in the League already, then this is an event for you! Please apply.

If you are not involved in the League you are also welcome to join, but then please specify why you would like to join in your cover letter.

People who are interested in becoming a judge are also very welcome, let us know this in your cover letter.

Priority will be given to League judges first, then to other judges and prospective judges based on their location and cover letter.

This is a Judge Meeting and not a conference. This means:

This will be updated when we approach the event, but the general idea is to have a big part of this consist of everything you need to know after not having judged for 1,5 years. (Which tools do we have, what even is Magic, how to judge our regular events, how to take a call, etc…)

And then have some teambuilding as well.

12:30 Unofficial lunch at de Vrolijke Viking, the event has not started yet but you are free to take your lunch to de Vrolijke Viking (or order pizza with Niels 48h before)

14:00 – 15:00  Official teambuilding activity

15:00 – 18:00 “Help, I have not judged in over a year!” seminars, workshops etc…

18:00 Offcial end, however let’s go for food and/or drinks after. Since we missed eachother for way too long.

Any questions for this event can be directed to Anouk via

Kind regards

the League Judge team
