Hi! Thank you for your interest in this conference.
This is a Malaysian judges community centric local conference focusing on Kaldheim new rules updates while promoting a sense of community get-togetherness in this period of isolation, especially with the recent renewed lockdown and lack of events. With this conference, we hope to reduce the barrier of reluctance of interacting with each other with a smaller, more local environment, especially our new to the scene L1s and give more judges the chance to be able to step up and have the opportunity to present compared to a larger regional conference where they might be far less likely to be chosen to present, especially L1s.
Let this be an opportunity for you to be known, stand out, and get to know and have the chance to interact with the rest of the local Malaysian community!
The conference will be held on the 20th of March 2021 (Saturday) from 1PM to 6PM (GMT+8) Malaysian time.
Applications are accepted until the 15th of March 2021 but read below for more information about support, requirements and priorities.
The conference will be run on Discord. The link will be shared on a later date through email notifications and our local Whatsapp channel.
This conference provides promotional support for JA Judges that attend the conference, in addition to the organizers and presenters.
For this, each presenter/organizer still receives a total of 2 promo packs, each basic attendee will receive 1 promo pack, and each L3 at the conference to receive 1 additional promo packet.
Everyone is welcome to apply and attend but support will for prioritized to Malaysian Judge Academy members, however, for international members of Judge Academy, due to the community focused nature of this conference, you might not be accepted if you have not been a known mentor or contributing member to the community and also for logistics reasons for the difficulties of delivery of the promo support.
There will be a hard limit of 50 participants including staff in the platform used (Discord) and please take note of the community focused environment that we want to cultivate for all attendees and therefore you might encounter Malaysian slang, Bahasa being spoken as well as a liberal use of “Manglish” or Malaysian English or Mangled English depending on your point of view.

To be eligible for conference support, you must show your attendance of at least 2 seminars via a very short quiz (3 questions via Google Forms) at the end of each seminar AND provide at least one constructive feedback for a seminar.
