Howdy, and welcome to the next US West weeknight conference! Brook, Niki, and myself, Kris Kleinsteuber, are looking forward to hosting another quality conference for y’all!

First off, read through this all carefully before applying.

We are looking for presenters for two tracks: a track for RA/L1 and a track for advanced L1’s/L2+. We are looking for topics that would be beneficial for new judges or local-only judges to learn from for the beginner track, and topics for judges looking to step foot into team leading or work towards leadership opportunities (or anything to assists judges working in that direction). We are also looking for someone to present upon the newest set, March of the Machine. Presenter applications will not be considered after March 26th at 11:59 pm Pacific.

I have some exciting news: Sheldon Menery has already agreed to present for one of the nights. If you want to hear about community growth, community engagement, and Commander, this will be a topic you don’t want to miss!

We are set to run this conference over the course of the evenings from April 24th until April 27th. Each night will start at 7 pm Pacific until 9:15 pm. There will be two, one-hour topics each night with a short break between. This event will receive promo support. To be eligible for support, you will need to be an L1+ JA judge in good standing, be accepted to the conference, attend FOUR topics at minimum, be in both Discord and Zoom while attending, have us see active participation, and fill out the address form at the end of the conference. There will be a free mail option and a paid mail option. If I am accepted to MagicCon Minneapolis, I can give the promos there to those that request it.

We are also reading cover letters! Tell us why you want to participate, what you hope to gain from your attendance. We do read each and every cover letter!

You will need to have a Discord account and a Zoom account to join this conference. Zoom and Discord will be shared later. While this is primarily a US West conference, we are open to having other judges attend from other regions. We have a total of 135 attendee slots this time. We are also open to hosting RA’s, but you will not be eligible for foils and will not need to fill out the address form. We have 300 slots total in the server for people to attend. If you are not selected for foil-supported attendance, you still have the option to view the topics until we cap out on the server limit.
