So, your local game store has asked you to run an event online, or maybe you want to expand the reach of a store you help run, or you want to provide an opportunity that organizers in your area aren’t providing your players. Maybe you want to get into the world of esports, and start an event company yourself.

Well, the first step to bringing your events to a larger audience is to get your events established online. In a world without live, or in-person events, migrating to digital events can be a daunting task for even the most experienced event organizer. Luckily, there are a ton of services you can use right now to get your event off the ground and on the rails. In this module, we’re going to go over a few of those tools.

Part one of this module will cover:

  • The strengths and weaknesses of using a digital platform or adapting physical games to be played remotely
  • Communicating with your players, and what service to use
  • A deeper dive into the Tournament Operation services, such as Discord, Melee.gg, AetherHub, and others
