Tuesday Update 4/28

Hey all! We are closing in on May and there’s a lot of things that are not done yet, but on the horizon over the next few weeks.

At this point I should have either contacted and resolved, or are in contact and still resolving, any outstanding tasks we received emails about over the last few weeks. If you sent in an email over the weekend or yesterday, you should hear back this week. Thank you for keeping us updated so we can help solve any problems or issues that come up!

I’m working everyday to edit the L2 and L3 content to make sure they are good to release. That said, if you are somewhere in the middle of the current L3 Process, things have been moving along as close to normal as we can be at the moment. You should hear from me over the next week so we can talk about where you are and how to continue to make progress. If you don’t hear from me by this weekend, it’s possible some of your info about items that were approved or accepted during the old process has not made its way to Judge Academy. No worries! Sent me an email and we will work it all out, I don’t want this to be a point of stress for anyone!

Samples from the MTG Pro Shop came in and have been approved. We are talking with Steve about how soon he is planning on making these available, and what his options are for distribution until events are back up and running.

Judge Benefits are live, and listed under the Resources tab on the top bar for everyone, as well as the side bar for those logged in. If you are a member in Judge Academy (meaning you hold a JA Certification), you should be able to access those codes and discounts already. Once again, these vendors are helping us create some awesome added value for our members, and we want them to continue to do cool things for you, so please do not publicly share discounts meant for Judges.

We are also waiting on the last few translations of the L1 class/exam materials. If a class is available in other languages, you’ll be able to see which languages it’s been translated into by using the Language Select button at the top. While our translations were done by bilingual judges, everyone makes mistakes, so if you come across something that looks or sounds odd, please feel free to let us know, and we will look into if it’s an error, a difference in dialects or something else. The translation we received all need to be inputted manually into our site’s back end, so if you don’t see a module translated yet, it should be on its way.

That’s all for this week!

Stay home, and stay healthy!
