SBAs are the garbage collectors of magic. If SBAs weren’t checked regularly, the game would end up in a garbage fire. We’ll go over each individual state that can occur that requires the garbage collector to come make a “pick up” in a moment. For now, just think of it like the “clean up step” that happens continuously throughout the game.
